Think of an AI calculator as a worksheet—not a settlement promise.
It can help you:
- Identify categories of damages to discuss (medical bills, lost income, ongoing therapy, non-economic impacts)
- Create a checklist for records you’ll likely need (ER notes, follow-up neurology, medication history)
- Spot gaps in your timeline—especially if symptoms evolved after the incident
It can’t reliably do:
- Confirm medical causation when symptoms overlap with migraines, sleep disruption, anxiety, or prior conditions
- Translate cognitive symptoms into legally persuasive functional proof
- Predict how an insurer will evaluate liability or comparative fault under California injury law
In other words, the “number” from an AI tool may not reflect how adjusters and defense attorneys will argue your case.
