In coastal Maine communities like Saco, pool season runs on a tight schedule. Many properties switch hands, contractors come and go, and maintenance records can be updated or archived once the season changes.
That means two things for injured families:
- Evidence gets overwritten fast. If there’s any surveillance, it may be overwritten within days.
- Maintenance paperwork can go missing. Gate checks, pump/filter service, water testing logs, and repair invoices aren’t always kept in a way that’s easy to retrieve later.
Taking action early is often the difference between a claim that has solid documentation and one that has to rely on incomplete recollections.
