Most AI tools are built to generate a range based on generalized inputs (injury severity, age, and reported care needs). That can help you understand what categories of damages might matter.
What an AI model cannot do:
- Review North Carolina medical records, imaging, and neurological testing results.
- Judge causation based on incident facts (what happened, when symptoms appeared, and whether documentation is consistent).
- Account for evidence problems that often come up locally—missing scene documentation, unclear witness accounts, or gaps between the accident and follow-up care.
- Replace a lawyer’s ability to challenge liability arguments and protect your claim if the insurer pressures you to “move on” too early.
A better way to think about AI output: use it to organize questions for your case—not as a promise of what you’ll receive.
