Most AI tools generate a general range based on inputs you type in—injury severity, age, and some assumptions about future care. That can be useful when you’re trying to understand which categories of damages often drive value.
However, AI calculators typically cannot review the documents that actually shape outcomes in Michigan, such as:
- Your imaging and neurologic exam results (and the timeline of those findings)
- Whether the injury is complete vs. incomplete and the practical functional limits that follow
- Your treatment pathway (hospital course, rehab plan, complications)
- Evidence that ties the incident to the SCI (causation)
In other words, the tool may estimate “what SCI claims sometimes look like,” but your claim in Troy should be valued based on what your record proves.
