Most online tools provide a range based on categories like injury severity, age, and future care assumptions. That can be useful for getting oriented, especially when you’re overwhelmed and trying to understand whether your claim might involve medical bills, rehabilitation, long-term assistance, and lost earning capacity.
But AI tools generally cannot review the things that make a settlement credible in California:
- Your actual neurological findings documented over time (not just an initial impression)
- Your functional limits (mobility, transfers, bladder/bowel management, skin risk)
- The medical support for a life-care timeline (what happens in year 1 vs. year 10)
- Evidence of liability tied to the specific incident
In other words, an AI number is closer to a worksheet than a case outcome.
