On many Newport Beach projects—whether it’s a coastal remodel, a hotel renovation, or routine building maintenance—multiple crews may be working in the same footprint. If a scaffold was moved, reconfigured, or accessed through a temporary route, the conditions can change quickly.
That matters because the best evidence in scaffolding fall cases is usually time-sensitive:
- Photos and videos of guardrails, toe boards, decking, and access points
- Incident logs created while details are fresh
- Witness accounts from supervisors, other trades, and nearby workers
- Training/inspection records tied to the exact scaffold setup
The longer you wait, the more likely it is that the jobsite is cleaned up, equipment is dismantled, or key documents are overwritten.
