Before you talk to adjusters or start answering questions, focus on building a record that can be used later.
Do this right away (or as soon as you’re able):
- Report the crash and get the case/incident number if law enforcement responds.
- Capture ride details (trip receipt, driver name/photo, time, pickup/drop-off) while the app data is still fresh.
- Document injuries as they show up—Northglenn residents often delay care because they think symptoms are “temporary.” Delays can complicate causation arguments.
- Preserve witness info when the crash happens near intersections, parking lots, or busier roadways.
Be careful with what you say to insurers. Early statements can be used to claim your injuries weren’t serious, that you were partially at fault, or that symptoms developed from something other than the crash.
