A recall is a public safety step, but it’s not a settlement letter. In Texas, the injury claim still has to answer the same core questions:
- Was the product you used included in the recall?
- What safety defect (or missing warning) is identified?
- Did that defect cause your injuries the way the recall describes?
- Who is responsible in the chain of distribution?
For Heath residents, this often shows up in real life when someone learns about a recall after an injury—sometimes weeks later—after searching online, hearing about incidents on local news, or seeing a notice that doesn’t clearly match their model.
