South Salt Lake has a mix of residential streets, arterial roads, and frequent “walk-to-where-you-need-to-go” activity. That means pedestrian incidents often involve:
- Drivers turning across your path near intersections and crosswalks
- Last-minute lane changes during commute traffic
- Limited sight lines from parked vehicles, landscaping, or construction materials
- Low-visibility seasons (snow, glare, dusk lighting, wet crosswalks)
In these situations, it’s rarely enough to say “they hit me.” The dispute is usually about what the driver could and should have seen, whether the driver had enough time to stop, and whether the injuries you’re claiming match what treatment records show.
