In our area, pedestrian accidents often occur in familiar situations:
- Busy corridors where people cross to reach shopping, restaurants, and services
- Streets near schools, parks, and neighborhood sidewalks
- Areas with late-day glare or low visibility
- Weekend and event traffic when parking lots and drive lanes get crowded
- Tourists walking near entertainment districts or along routes they’re not used to
When a crash happens in a place you know well, it can feel “obvious” what went wrong. Unfortunately, insurance companies frequently challenge the story anyway—often focusing on timing, visibility, and whether a pedestrian was in a driver’s line of sight.
