Rear-end collisions and intersection impacts are common, and they can trigger neck strain, whiplash-type injuries, disc problems, or nerve irritation. In many cases, insurance adjusters focus on two questions:
- Was your injury caused by the crash?
- How serious are your limitations right now?
Local traffic patterns can make this harder. For example, sudden braking on commute-heavy stretches, distracted driving, and lane-change impacts can lead to conflicting stories from the drivers involved. If the other side suggests you were already having symptoms, or that your pain “must be” unrelated, your claim needs more than a quick statement.
