After a crash or slip-and-fall, insurance companies frequently question one of two things:
- Whether your symptoms match the incident (timing, body mechanics, and documented complaints)
- Whether the injury is serious enough to justify the treatment and compensation requested
In our experience, this dispute is more likely when:
- You were hurt in a commute-related collision and symptoms ramped up later
- Your medical records show inconsistent descriptions of pain or function
- There’s a gap between the incident and your first evaluation
Even if you feel confident the injury is real, the claim still has to be proven with a clear timeline and medical documentation.
