In our area, the difference between a claim that moves forward and one that gets delayed or minimized is frequently the same set of facts:
- When symptoms started (immediately vs. later flare-ups)
- Whether you sought care quickly and continued treatment when recommended
- How the incident is described (what happened, where you were located, and how the impact occurred)
- Whether insurers can attack causation by pointing to gaps, inconsistent descriptions, or prior issues
California adjusters commonly want to narrow the case to “minor soft-tissue” or argue the condition is unrelated to the crash. The stronger your timeline and documentation, the harder it is for them to reduce your claim.
