AI tools often work like this: you enter injury and crash details, the calculator generates an estimated range, and you’re left to wonder why the real case doesn’t match.
In practice, differences usually come from factors an online form can’t fully capture—things like:
- whether the crash happened in low-visibility conditions (night glare, winter precipitation, dusk)
- how quickly your injuries were documented after the crash
- whether the route involved turning movements at intersections where witnesses and police reports become critical
- whether there’s strong evidence connecting your symptoms to the crash (not just a similar complaint)
AI can’t confirm liability, and it can’t weigh credibility the way a lawyer can once the full file is assembled.
