Most AI tools are built to estimate outcomes from broad patterns. They can be helpful when you’re trying to understand which inputs usually move the number up or down—medical treatment, wage loss, and the severity of harm.
What they usually can’t do is account for the things that often drive results in Washington injury cases, such as:
- Whether the crash location and lighting conditions support the rider’s account (important on routes near the waterfront and during evening hours)
- How clearly fault is documented when multiple vehicles are involved at busy intersections
- Whether the timeline of symptoms and treatment matches what the records show
- How credibility issues come up when there are disputes about speed, lane position, or right-of-way
In other words, the calculator can point you in the right direction—but your evidence will determine whether insurers treat your claim as straightforward or contested.
