An AI tool generally produces a rough range based on inputs like injury type, treatment duration, and reported losses. That can be helpful when you’re trying to think through questions like:
- How do medical bills and follow-up care usually affect settlement value?
- What role do missed work and reduced mobility play?
- Why do two people with similar injuries end up with very different outcomes?
But AI estimates don’t know the full story of your crash—such as what a driver said (or denied), what the police report reflects, whether there’s dashcam or surveillance footage from nearby businesses, or how clearly your treatment ties back to the collision.
In Virginia, insurers and defense counsel often focus on whether the evidence supports both liability (who was at fault) and causation (that the collision caused your specific injuries). A calculator can’t adjudicate those disputes.
