Online tools can be useful for rough math, but they don’t see the details that matter most in a real claim—especially in a city where crashes may occur on busy corridors, highways, and intersections with fast-changing traffic patterns.
In practice, settlement value tends to hinge on:
- How fault is proven (who entered the rider’s path, failed to yield, or caused an unsafe lane change)
- How clearly injuries are documented (ER notes, imaging, follow-up care, and consistent symptom reporting)
- Whether treatment tracks the crash timeline
- How long the rider’s recovery actually takes (and whether the injury leaves lasting limitations)
When an AI estimate uses generic recovery averages, it can understate cases where symptoms persist, require additional treatment, or involve complications.
