Online tools can be helpful when they:
- prompt you to list medical treatment, missed work, and ongoing symptoms
- show which categories of damages often increase or decrease a claim
- help you compare “what if” scenarios (for example, shorter vs. longer recovery)
They can’t reliably do the parts that decide value in real New Jersey cases, such as:
- proving fault when multiple drivers share blame
- linking specific symptoms to the crash rather than other causes
- accounting for gaps in treatment or inconsistent reporting
- reflecting how strong your documentation is (photos, witness info, records)
In other words, a calculator may produce a number, but the case still turns on evidence and credibility.
