Most people use a calculator because it promises clarity: input injuries, bills, and time away from work, then get an estimated number.
The limitation is that AI estimates are built from generalized patterns. In Nixa, two cases that look similar on paper can end up with very different outcomes depending on what can be proven:
- How quickly your injuries were documented after the crash
- Whether the insurance company can argue another cause for symptoms
- Whether there’s usable evidence from the scene (photos, witness accounts, reports)
- Whether the defense claims you contributed to the crash (for example, speed or lookout)
So the calculator may give you a rough framework—but it can’t replace the case-specific evaluation you need before deciding whether an offer is fair.
