Most online tools estimate settlement ranges by using common injury patterns and generalized injury-to-cost assumptions. That can be helpful when you’re trying to understand what categories of losses matter—like medical bills, treatment duration, and wage impact.
But an estimator can’t truly measure:
- How Kentucky insurers view liability evidence (photos, crash reports, witness statements)
- Whether your medical records clearly connect your symptoms to the crash
- How your injuries affect your ability to work locally (including restrictions that show up later)
- Whether the defense argues comparative fault based on how the crash unfolded
In other words, the calculator gives you a starting point; your documentation and case facts determine the outcome.
