AI tools generally do two things:
- Collect inputs you provide (crash description, injuries, treatment, time missed from work).
- Apply generalized injury-and-loss patterns based on prior claim data and legal concepts of damages.
That’s useful when you’re trying to plan—especially if bills are arriving faster than your recovery. Still, no calculator can confirm liability, verify causation, or predict how an Illinois insurer will evaluate credibility.
In practice, two claims with the same diagnosis can settle very differently because the strength of the evidence and the timeline of treatment often carry more weight than the injury name.
