AI tools can be useful when you’re trying to understand the “shape” of a claim—medical expenses, lost income, and non-economic harm like pain and reduced daily function. They typically rely on generalized patterns from past cases and the inputs you provide (injury type, treatment duration, time off work, and so on).
But AI can’t:
- verify fault the way evidence does in California claims
- read your full medical record to connect symptoms to the crash
- account for negotiation dynamics between insurers and claimants
In other words, treat the AI number as a conversation starter—not as what an insurer will offer or what a court might award.
