Most calculators work by taking your inputs—like injury type, treatment length, and wage loss—and producing a rough range. That can be useful when you’re trying to set expectations.
However, an online tool cannot:
- confirm liability based on the specific crash scene and evidence
- verify whether medical records support causation
- predict how an insurer will frame comparative fault under California law
- replace a review of your treatment plan, imaging, and provider notes
In other words: treat the calculator as a “map,” not the destination.
