Most AI tools calculate a rough “range” by taking the details you type in—injury type, treatment length, medical costs, and sometimes general severity categories. That can feel helpful, but it leaves out the parts that matter most in a real Texas medical negligence dispute.
In practice, settlement value hinges on:
- Whether the standard of care was breached (what a reasonably careful provider would have done)
- Whether that breach caused the harm (causation is often the hardest issue)
- Whether damages are supported with records (not just described)
- How the defense will explain away gaps in the medical chart
AI doesn’t review imaging reports, deposition testimony, or expert opinions. It also can’t verify whether your timeline matches what the records actually show.
