Defiance is small enough that many people end up treated by the same regional networks—urgent care visits, follow-up imaging, surgeries, and referrals that connect across providers.
That can create a specific kind of confusion after a harmful outcome:
- Your records may be spread across different facilities and clinicians.
- The “timeline” matters—what was missed, what was delayed, and what should have been done sooner.
- Work and family schedules don’t pause while you sort medical bills, therapy appointments, and recovery setbacks.
A calculator can’t see those moving parts. In many Defiance cases, the difference between an adequate and a weak demand is whether the proof is organized and whether doctors can explain how the breach caused the harm.
