AI estimators typically look at broad inputs like injury severity, time to recovery, and medical costs. That can be useful when you’re trying to organize your questions, such as:
- What costs are already in the record (ER visits, imaging, follow-up appointments)?
- How long did treatment last, and did the condition worsen?
- Are there indications of permanent effects (ongoing therapy, long-term restrictions)?
But AI doesn’t have access to the parts that usually decide whether a case settles in Louisiana:
- Causation evidence connecting the care choices to your specific outcome
- Standard-of-care review supported by appropriate medical experts
- Documentation quality (gaps in notes, unclear timelines, inconsistent symptom reporting)
In other words, an AI range may suggest “possible value,” but it can’t confirm negligence or prove that the medical team’s actions caused your harm.
