An AI tool can be a starting point because it typically organizes damages into broad buckets—medical bills, future care, lost wages, and non-economic harm like pain and suffering.
The limitation is that Louisiana claims are evidence-driven. An online calculator can’t review:
- the actual chart notes showing what clinicians knew at each step,
- imaging/lab results and whether they were acted on promptly,
- how follow-up was handled,
- whether a different provider’s decision-making would have met the accepted standard of care.
In other words, an AI output may give you language for questions—but it can’t establish fault or causation.
