Most AI tools estimate value by using simplified inputs (injury type, treatment duration, medical bills, and sometimes reported pain impact). The output can be useful as a starting point, especially if you’re trying to understand what categories of harm lawyers usually look for.
However, Florida malpractice cases depend heavily on proof—proof that a provider breached the standard of care and that the breach caused the injury in a medically defensible way. A calculator doesn’t review:
- how the provider documented symptoms and decision-making
- whether prior records were reviewed or ignored
- whether a follow-up plan was appropriate and actually carried out
- what medical experts say about causation and deviation
In other words, the tool may estimate damages categories, but it can’t verify the legal “bridge” between the alleged negligence and the outcome.
