AI tools typically work from generalized “damage categories” such as medical bills, lost income, and pain and suffering. That can be helpful for understanding what lawyers look at.
What it can’t do is verify the pieces that usually make or break a case, including:
- Whether negligence actually occurred under the accepted Florida medical standard of care
- Whether the provider’s actions caused the injury (causation is often disputed)
- Whether your records support the timeline—especially when symptoms evolve over weeks
- Whether experts can defend the link between a specific decision and a specific harm
In practice, two people can have the same diagnosis and still have very different claims depending on documentation, expert support, and what the medical records show about missed warning signs or follow-up.
