In Lebanon, crashes aren’t limited to high-traffic highways. Many incidents occur on smaller roads where:
- Cameras are limited and retention windows are short (private storefront systems and traffic-adjacent cameras may overwrite quickly).
- Witnesses are passing through—commuters, students, and evening pedestrians may not be reachable later.
- Lighting and weather change quickly (fog, rain, and early winter darkness can make identification harder).
When a driver leaves the scene, the case often becomes an evidence-and-timeline problem: what happened, where it happened, and what can still be proven after the initial chaos.
