Midvale is closely connected to the Wasatch Front’s industrial and logistics activity. In workplaces serving the I-215 corridor and nearby supply routes, forklifts frequently share space with pedestrians, contractors, and delivery traffic.
That matters because many forklift incidents don’t come down to one obvious cause. Investigations often turn into competing stories about:
- what the forklift driver could see at the time (lighting, line of sight, signage)
- whether pedestrian routes were clearly marked or protected
- whether the workplace followed Utah workplace safety expectations and internal policies
- whether equipment condition and maintenance were adequate
When multiple parties are involved (employer, staffing company, equipment vendor, property manager), the paperwork alone can become overwhelming.
