El Mirage is a growing West Valley community. That growth means more distribution, maintenance work, and industrial activity—often with fast-paced schedules and tight safety margins. In these settings, forklift-related injuries sometimes involve more than “one driver and one machine,” such as:
- Pedestrians crossing near loading docks or walkways that aren’t clearly separated
- Temporary work zones created by ongoing facility work (cones, signage, rerouted traffic)
- Shift changes and high foot traffic when visibility is reduced
- Outdoor operations affected by dust, uneven ground, or wet conditions
When these factors show up, fault can involve the forklift operator, the employer’s safety program, site management, maintenance practices, and—sometimes—third parties who controlled the work area.
