An AI tool typically generates a range based on inputs you provide (injury severity, treatment, and timing). That can be useful for understanding categories of losses.
However, dog bite claims often hinge on details that an online estimator can’t reliably capture, such as:
- Whether the bite occurred in a public setting (common around busy downtown areas, parks, and high-foot-traffic neighborhoods)
- Whether nearby witnesses saw the dog’s behavior before the bite
- How quickly treatment was sought and how consistently symptoms were documented
- Whether the medical provider linked the injury to the dog bite (not just the wound itself)
In other words, the calculator can’t “see” the evidence that matters in Manitowoc.
