Most online tools work like this: you enter basic facts about the incident and your injuries, and the calculator outputs a rough compensation range. That can be useful for figuring out which categories of damages matter—like medical bills, lost time, or long-term effects.
But a calculator can’t see the details that most influence outcomes in real Bellevue cases, such as:
- whether the dog’s owner had notice of prior aggressive behavior
- how clearly your medical records link the injury to the bite
- what evidence exists from the day of the incident (photos, witness statements, animal control reports)
- whether the defense argues the injury wasn’t as severe as claimed
In other words, a calculator can help you ask better questions. It can’t replace case review.
