Many online tools produce a range based on common patterns—medical bills, treatment duration, and whether the injury left visible marks. That’s a helpful starting point.
In Lehi, however, the facts that often move settlement value up or down include:
- Where the bite happened (front yard, driveway, HOA/common area, or during a community outing)
- How quickly medical care was obtained and how completely it was documented
- Whether the dog’s owner received prior notice of aggressive behavior
- What witnesses and photos show about the dog’s behavior at the moment of the bite
If a calculator assumes “standard” liability or “typical” injury severity, it may not reflect the way Lehi adjusters evaluate your evidence.
