Most online calculators work by asking for basic details (bite date, treatment, and injury severity) and then producing a broad range. That can be useful for planning—especially if you’re trying to understand what categories of damages might be involved.
However, calculators cannot reliably account for:
- how Texas adjusters evaluate liability when facts are disputed
- whether medical records clearly connect the bite to your symptoms
- whether scarring, infection risk, or follow-up care is documented
- statements you may have made to the owner’s insurer before the full impact was known
In other words, an estimate can be a starting point, but it isn’t the same thing as a settlement demand that matches what your records can support.
