Online tools can be useful when you’re trying to organize the basics: when the bite happened, how it was treated, and whether the injury left visible marks. However, a calculator can’t review the things that usually make or break a settlement in real life, such as:
- what the bite report says (if animal control was involved)
- whether medical notes clearly connect the wound to the incident
- whether the owner had notice of prior aggression
- whether the dog was restrained or under supervision
In Nederland, many cases involve everyday settings—residential neighborhoods, shared properties, or visitors staying in the area—so the “where and how” details matter just as much as the wound itself.
