A calculator is useful when you need a starting range—for example, to understand how treatment type, time off work, and visible injury may influence settlement discussions.
But online tools can’t reliably account for Warwick-specific realities that often move the needle:
- Whether the dog owner reported the incident promptly
- Whether local witnesses (neighbors, walkers, staff at community areas) can confirm what happened
- Whether your medical records clearly connect the bite to the symptoms you’re reporting
- Whether there are disputes about supervision, containment, or prior behavior
In other words, an estimate can help you organize questions for your attorney—but it shouldn’t be used as a “number you will receive.”
