Most AI tools work by taking your inputs—like where the bite happened, the type of injury, and treatment received—and returning a rough compensation range. That can help you sanity-check what you’ve been told.
However, a calculator can’t independently verify:
- whether the dog owner had notice of prior aggressive behavior
- whether the incident was captured by video (common in denser neighborhoods)
- whether the medical record supports the severity and cause of the wound
- whether the insurer will dispute the timeline (for example, when a bite occurred near an event and treatment started later)
In short: the AI output may guide your questions, but it shouldn’t guide your decisions.
