AI tools are designed to estimate outcomes from general patterns. That can be helpful for learning what categories of losses might matter—but it’s not the same as evaluating your evidence.
In real Murray claims, the most common reasons an AI range fails to match a settlement include:
- Unclear documentation of the wound (photos, descriptions, and treatment timing)
- Gaps between the bite and medical records—especially when the bite occurred after a weekend activity or social gathering
- Disputes about foreseeability (for example, whether the dog had shown aggression before)
- Insurance arguments about causation (what the medical provider links to the bite vs. other conditions)
If you accept an early offer based on a calculator without confirming that your medical records support the injury severity, you risk undervaluing the claim.
