Online calculators generally assume a “typical” incident and “typical” injuries. Post Falls cases don’t always fit that mold. For example, dog bite claims around the area can involve:
- Residential bites tied to fencing, leashes, or supervision during day-to-day routines
- Accidents during neighborhood visits or gatherings where multiple people were present
- Injuries connected to property access (yards, driveways, or areas where guests or service workers were expected to be)
- Work-related bites for people commuting between homes, shops, or job sites
Even when the dog bite is clear, insurers may argue about the facts—where the dog was, what happened right before the bite, and whether the treatment documented the severity you claim. That’s why calculators can’t replace a review of your specific evidence.
