Many cases begin with something you notice right away after the collision—or something you learn later.
Common Clayton scenarios include:
- Airbag didn’t deploy despite a collision that should have triggered it.
- Airbag deployed after the wrong type of impact, or with timing that didn’t match the crash.
- Injuries consistent with restraint failure (burns, facial trauma, other harm) that seem out of proportion to what you expected from a properly functioning system.
- A later discovery that your vehicle is tied to a safety recall involving airbag components or related sensors.
Even if your vehicle was repaired, the malfunction may still leave a trail through dealership/service documentation, diagnostic scans, and replacement records.
