In a lot of Seminole cases, the issue becomes clear in one of three ways:
- The crash looks severe, but the airbag didn’t deploy. That can be especially alarming after a side-impact or rear-end collision where restraint systems are expected to trigger.
- The airbag deploys, but the injury is out of proportion. Some injuries suggest the restraint system didn’t perform as intended.
- You learn later through a repair or safety notice. A body shop may note replaced restraint components, or a safety campaign may surface after the fact.
Even if you’re still deciding whether to pursue a claim, the period right after the crash is when the most valuable records are created—accident reports, EMS notes, hospital documentation, and vehicle repair paperwork.
