In Hollywood, the days after a collision move quickly. Vehicles get inspected, repaired, or released back to owners; dashcams may overwrite; and photos are often taken once and then forgotten. If the airbag malfunction is part of the story, that early window matters.
Because airbag systems are electronic and tightly connected to vehicle crash data, delaying evidence collection can make it harder to show:
- the airbag warning indicators that appeared
- what the restraint system did (or didn’t do) during the crash
- what parts were replaced after the accident
If you’re able, preserve what you can immediately: photos of the vehicle interior/exterior, medical intake paperwork, and any repair documentation you receive.
