Airbag problems can appear in different ways, and the pattern can help guide what evidence we request and how we evaluate liability.
Common Arcadia scenarios include:
- Airbag didn’t deploy despite the crash severity—leaving occupants to absorb impact without the intended protection.
- Airbag deployed improperly—for example, deploying at an unsafe time or in a manner that increases injury risk.
- Injuries consistent with restraint failure—such as facial trauma, burns, hearing issues, or other injury mechanisms that align with a malfunctioning component.
- Recall-related confusion—you may discover later that your vehicle was subject to a safety campaign, even if repairs were not completed or you weren’t properly informed.
Even when a vehicle has been repaired, the crash record trail—repair documentation, diagnostic notes, and event logs (when available)—can still be important.
