In many Ankeny projects, work is split among general contractors, specialty subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors. That matters because responsibility may shift depending on:
- Who controlled the specific work area where the injury happened
- Who directed the task and sequencing that led to the hazard
- Which company owned or maintained equipment used on-site
- Whether safety responsibilities were actually followed (not just written down)
When the wrong party is targeted—or the right party is missed—settlement negotiations can stall. Our job is to map the jobsite roles to the accident facts so the claim is aimed correctly.
