Many Speedway residents don’t realize how quickly documentation can become difficult to reconstruct. Between doctors’ offices, pharmacies, and employers, it’s easy for key information to get scattered.
That’s why we recommend starting with two tracks—medical documentation and timeline documentation—right away:
- Medical track: diagnosis dates, treatment history, imaging/lab results, and any notes discussing possible causes.
- Timeline track: where you lived or served during the relevant years and any records that confirm your assignment, housing, or duty location.
Even if you’re unsure whether your illness is “in scope,” organizing what you have now can prevent avoidable setbacks later.
