Most burn calculators work by asking for general details—burn type, treatment, and severity—and then projecting possible damages. What they can’t do is:
- interpret burn depth and progression based on your specific records
- confirm causation (what actually caused the burn) when multiple hazards are possible
- account for how long healing will realistically take in your case
In Texas, credibility and documentation matter. Insurers may focus on gaps in treatment, inconsistencies in timelines, or whether your described injuries match clinical findings. A calculator can’t test those issues.
