Online tools can be useful when you’re overwhelmed and trying to organize your situation. Many can produce a rough range by asking about burn depth, treatment, and time away from work.
But in real Deming cases, the difference is usually what’s documented and what’s provable:
- Whether your medical records show the burn severity clearly (not just that you were “burned”)
- Whether follow-up care matches the injuries you say you suffered
- Whether your functional limitations (hand use, mobility, pain with daily tasks) are supported
An AI tool can’t review clinic notes, operative reports, burn-surgery records, or scar progression over time. It also can’t account for how New Mexico insurers respond when liability and causation are disputed.
