Most calculators produce a range based on generic inputs (burn severity, treatment length, time off work). That’s not the same as a claim review in Lincoln Park.
New Jersey adjusters usually focus on whether the record matches the incident and whether the injury required the treatment being billed. For burns, that often means:
- ER/urgent care notes that describe burn depth and body location
- Wound progression (what changed after the first days)
- Specialist involvement (burn center, plastic surgery, dermatology, PT/OT)
- Photos and measurements tied to treatment dates
- Documentation of functional limits—especially if a burn affected hands, arms, face, or mobility
A tool can’t verify causation, interpret medical causation, or predict whether additional procedures (e.g., scar management) will be recommended later.
